Supporting Scholar-Athletes Through the Game of Football

For more than 30 years, the South Jersey Chapter of the National Football Foundation has celebrated the achievements of high school football players who demonstrate excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Representing schools across Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, Monmouth, and Salem Counties, our chapter recognizes student-athletes who embody the values of leadership, dedication, and academic success.

The Scholar-Athlete Banquet

The highlight of our chapter each year is the annual Scholar-Athlete Banquet, where outstanding students from every member high school are honored for their accomplishments in athletics, academics, and community service. Each scholar-athlete receives a $500 scholarship to support their continued education, recognizing the hard work and commitment required to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Recognizing Excellence in Football and the Community

In addition to honoring student-athletes, the banquet celebrates individuals who make meaningful contributions to the game and to their communities. Awards are presented to coaches, officials, trainers, and community leaders whose dedication helps shape the positive impact of high school football across South Jersey.

Supporting the Future of Student-Athletes

The South Jersey Chapter also hosts events such as College Night, giving players and their families the opportunity to meet with college representatives and learn about academic and athletic opportunities at the next level. Through these programs, the chapter continues to support the growth and success of young athletes throughout the region.
